MeTube Downloader

This extension is context menu button for sending links of youtube videos into you own instance of MeTube

This extension won't work without installed MeTube. For additional instructions see github page of MeTube.

If you have some troubles with extension you can open issue on github page of extension.

Settings

Url of MeTube

Video format:

When you left-click on the extension icon, you'd like it to:

Go to MeTube URL
Send current tab URL to MeTube (no tab switch)
Send current tab URL to MeTube and switch to MeTube

When you right-click on video preview, you'd like it to:

Send the video URL to MeTube (no tab switch)
Send the video URL to MeTube and switch to MeTube

Advanced Settings:

Use subfolder based on the Hostname of the URL
Use name-prefix based on the Hostname of the URL
Disable auto start of Downloads

Additional sites

Youtube-dl support many another sites except youtube. You can add mask url's of this sites in textfield bellow but it can affect performance and we have not tested them support
